Building a better future together
We are known for executing demanding projects. We’ve delivered more than 200 EPC projects globally, including around 4GW of wind transmission assets, both HVDC and HVAC, using flexible delivery models tailored to our clients' needs.
From concept and FEED to construction
Our services span concept and front-end engineering (FEED) and detailed engineering through to construction, commissioning and handover.
By collaborating with us at the earliest stage of your wind project, we can help you better manage cost and risk and avoid uncertainty as the project progresses.
We do so by blending our front-end engineering expertise with extensive project management experience, global procurement network and logistics knowledge, to seamlessly deliver large-scale, complex EPC projects. And we do so with an impeccable safety record.
Partnering for success
In 2022 we embarked on a partnership with Hitachi Energy to collaborate in the growing offshore wind market. Today we provide joint grid integration and infrastructure for our clients covering both HVDC and HVAC solutions. In this way, our complementary core technologies and expertise is bringing considerable benefits to the successful implementation of offshore wind projects.
Our work together includes the landmark 2GW Offshore Wind Program for TenneT in the Netherlands, which is ongoing.
A track record to be proud of
We’ve also delivered EPCI for the offshore substations for major windfarms across Europe’s leading developments, including for both HVDC and HVAC transmission platforms.
This includes the design, build, installation, and commissioning of one of the world’s largest offshore wind converter platforms, BorWin3, EPCI for Hollandse Kust Zuid (HKZ) - an HVDC transmission platform and EPCI for the Seagreen offshore wind project in the UK. This growing project portfolio reflects the ingenuity of our engineers and the quality of our delivery.
Committed to driving in-country value
Our model of local execution delivered to global standards sets us apart. We invest in supply chains wherever we work, adopting new approaches to accelerate delivery, and supporting the development of new entrants and local suppliers. This approach leaves a positive and lasting impact beyond the assets we design and build.
Looking to the future
Our Consulting team in the UK has considerable expertise in supporting the advancement of designs for floating wind infrastructure too. Drawing on capabilities across engineering disciplines alongside in-house specialist consultancy, the team has delivered concept studies for floating foundations as well as detailed analysis and verification to support the advancement of new and emerging technologies in the sector.
