Whistleblowing
We encourage Petrofac employees and third parties, including suppliers, vendors, contractors, or clients, to report any potential violations of the Petrofac Code of Conduct, Policies, Standards, Procedures, or applicable laws. We want to make it easy for them to Speak Up, without any fear of reprisal or retaliation.
Our Speak Up Programme
For our employees, the first point of contact should be the line manager or supervisor. If this is not practical, then concerns must be reported to a manager in Legal, Finance, or Human Resources, or directly to Petrofac’s Chief Compliance Officer or the Group Investigations Director.
Alternatively, concerns can be reported through our Speak Up portal, both by employees and third parties. This is operated by an independent third party retained by Petrofac to enable the reporting of issues for anyone who does not feel comfortable in engaging through the normal channels.
Speak Up can be used in two ways: either via telephone by speaking to a trained operator, or online through petrofac.ethicspoint.com. It is available in six languages: Arabic, English, French, Russian, Spanish, and Thai.
Our Non-Retaliation Policy
To emphasise our commitment to maintaining a strong and healthy Speak Up culture, we have adopted a standalone Non-Retaliation Policy under which all our business units have already undertaken tangible actions to encourage employees to raise concerns and to assure them that retaliation will not be tolerated.
