Yibal Khuff team receives special award from Petroleum Development Oman

More than 80 Petrofac employees working on the Yibal Khuff project have received a special ‘Shukran’ award for outstanding performance from client Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).

At the award ceremonies, which took place at Petrofac's offices in Chennai and Sharjah, PDO's Abdullah Jabri, EP Contract Holder and Facilities Delivery Manager, thanked the award recipients.

Abdullah praised the way in which the PDO and Petrofac teams were working together with full co-operation and dedication and highlighted how Yibal Khuff is a blueprint for future projects to be undertaken within the recently signed long-term framework agreement. ​

Roberto Bertocco, Managing Director, EPCm, attended the ceremony. "It was an important acknowledgement for the team to have our client come and present more than 80 individual awards," he said.

"This reflects the strength of the working relationship Swaminathan, Vice President (Operations) and the Project Director for Yibal Khuff, and his team have achieved on the project and I'm delighted for everyone involved.

"This is also another demonstration of the benefits that can be achieved through working in alignment with our clients and taking every opportunity to return value back to them."
