Success for Petrofac at Total’s UK SHE Awards

Petrofac’s Mark Williams, LOLER Focal Point on the Alwyn Platform, has won the ‘Safety Representative of the Year’ award at the 2015 TOTAL E&P UK SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) awards.

The ‘Safety Representative of the Year’ award recognises someone who goes beyond the functions and values required in a site Safety Representative. Mark’s nomination cited him as “a great example of how an offshore safety representative should conduct their business – approachable, genuine and helpful at all times.” His colleagues described him as “a dependable and approachable man who is always smiling!”

The SHE awards programme is in its tenth year and recognises outstanding achievements in safety, health and environment performance by those who work for and with TOTAL E&P UK.

Congratulations to Mark on his award and for truly representing Petrofac’s core value: Safety.
