Petrofac team recognised for technical expertise

Indrajit Chowdhury, Head of Civil and Structural Engineering, Jitendra P Singh and Raj Tilak both Technical Specialists in our Onshore Engineering & Construction business have been recognised for their depth of specialist technical expertise.

The three-man team produced two research papers which were accepted by the technical committee of the 15th World Conference in Earthquake Engineering on the basis of their originality and innovative technological development. One of the papers, titled ‘Dynamic response of well foundation under seismic force with coupled soil structure interaction’, was so highly considered that the team was invited to present their paper in person in front of the audience of leading industry experts. This is a remarkable achievement as the honour is only granted to a select few by the global scientific committee.

Commenting on this accomplishment, Indrajit said: “I am extremely proud of the team’s achievement. Having two papers accepted for their original technological development in a world forum by one organisation is an amazing result.
