Petrofac’s EVE Awards: celebrating those who truly live our values

At Petrofac, our values really do mean something to us. They sit at the heart of everything we do, inspire our success and guide our decisions and actions.

Our annual EVE Awards recognise employees who achieve incredible results by truly living our values: safe, ethical, innovative, responsive, quality and cost conscious, and driven to deliver.

The awards celebrate those who have demonstrated that by living our values, we can solve difficult problems, go the extra mile for our clients and achieve outstanding results for our projects and communities.

This year, more than 340 teams and individuals applied for an EVE Award and their applications have gone through an extensive judging process in what has been a record year for entries.

Criteria for success

The first judging stage is conducted by a panel of internal experts specific to each award category. Each entry is evaluated on how it represents a value in action, how much the project went above and beyond what is expected, and how it makes a positive impact to the business.

This is followed by judging at Group level, where the most senior members of our organisation select the winners.

But the judging doesn’t end there… once the finalists are announced, every Petrofac employee is invited to have their say and vote for their favourite, known as the People’s Choice Award. All of the awards are then presented at a ceremony attended by the finalists as well as our senior leadership team.

Recognising our people

This is the sixth year we’re running the EVE Awards and for Ayman Asfari, Group Chief Executive, the Awards are as important as ever in inspiring employees and celebrating their achievements:
