Petrofac's blood donation drive in UAE

Petrofac does a lot of worthy work to help communities and charities, but you might be surprised to learn that we are one of the biggest blood donor sources in the UAE.

Demand for blood has rocketed as a result of the fast-growing population, which means that blood is more needed than ever.

In recognition of this need, Petrofac’s Occupational Health team has been working with the UAE’s Ministry of Health for many years now to recruit blood donors and give blood.

Recently, over 100 colleagues in our Abu Dhabi and Sharjah offices gave blood at a mobile blood donation station.

Nazih Ataya,Head of our Occupational Health and Medical Services department, was thrilled with the turn-out.
