Petrofac provides insight at Middle East HSE and Sustainability Forum

Mustafa Vahgjipurwala, Senior Engineer - Instrumentation at our Sharjah office, recently presented at the Energy Institute's(EI) Middle East HSE and Sustainability Forum in Dubai.

Mustafa, a member of the forum’s strategy and technical board, participated in the technical session for Energy Efficiency.

With a presentation titled ‘ISO 50001 for the Petroleum Industry - a basis for partnership between operating companies and EPC contractors for successful implementation’, Mustafa provided an in-depth insight to the various aspects of an EPC project where energy efficiency could be included from design and offered strong arguments to justify why EPC companies would be the ideal partner for Operating Companies (OPCOs) to ensure maximum benefit from the ISO 50001 implementation.

The presentation demonstrated Petrofac’s capability to work with end-users to define feasible solutions for the industry’s long term sustainability.

Attendees ranged from senior leaders from various governments and private entities, to delegates from around the world from a number of industries, including oil and gas, renewable energy, and green building solution providers.
