Petrofac Mumbai's blood donation drive

At Petrofac Mumbai, we know that finding blood donors remains one of the most urgent needs for helping patients during cancer treatment, general surgery, post childbirth, accident and emergencies, to name just a few scenarios.

In recognition of the need, we organised our inaugural blood donation drive back in June which, on the day, turned out to be a superlative team effort. We had an overwhelming response with over 150 employees registered. Unfortunately we ran out of time and only managed to accommodate 120 on the day.

The blood donation programme began at 10.00 am and we had a team of doctors, technicians and nurses on hand from Hinduja Hospital to handle all the donors.

We were able to accommodate 6 donors at a time with the procedure taking 20 - 30 minutes to complete. Based on the response from the employees, we made the donor appointments in a professional and organised manner. Each donor was given a certificate as appreciation for their generous gesture.
