Petrofac Expands in Norway

Petrofac, the international oil & gas service facilities provider, is expanding its focus in Norway with the group’s Facilities Management business opening an office in Stavanger.

Thomas Knutsen has been appointed business manager to head up the Norwegian operation, which has been established by Petrofac’s Brownfield team, offering engineering and construction services for major modifications to existing oil & gas installations.

Knutsen has vast experience in both oil & gas and industry in Norway and the international market with an impressive track record of developing new companies and product lines into profitable entities. As a former dean of the Norway Business School, Knutsen has a strong academic background to complement his industry knowledge and understanding.
