Petrofac consortium secures project management services contract with KPO

Petrofac’s Engineering & Production Services (EPS) East division, along with its Kazakh consortium partner Garant Project LLP, has secured a project management services contract from Karachaganak Petroleum Operating b.v. (KPO). The three-year project management services contract is in support of KPO’s gas debottlenecking project at the company’s Karachaganak processing complex in Kazakhstan.

In addition to providing the core integrated project management system to prepare for and ensure successful project execution, the scope of work includes the provision of specialist personnel to perform key roles within an integrated project management team with KPO.

Mani Rajapathy, Managing Director, Petrofac EPS East, said: “We are extremely pleased with this important award for the provision of project management services which again demonstrates our competence and capabilities to oversee large programmes of work. Our integrated project management system is a particular highlight and we look forward to utilising this, working with KPO to deliver first class services which will underpin the safe and successful delivery of this project.”
