Petrofac becomes accredited Living Wage employer

Petrofac has been certified by the Living Wage Foundation as an Accredited Living Wage employer in the United Kingdom.

More than 3500 people work for Petrofac in the United Kingdom, across our offices and sites in Aberdeen, Woking, London, Great Yarmouth, and other locations. The Company currently pays at least the real Living Wage to its employees in the UK.

The real Living Wage is the only rate based on the real costs of living and what people need to get by. Higher than the government-set national living wage, it is a voluntary commitment by businesses to ensure employees and sub-contracted staff earn a real Living Wage.

“We are proud to be joining the Living Wage Foundation as an accredited employer. We are a people business at Petrofac, and it is our people that set us apart. Being a Living Wage employer underpins our efforts to champion an inclusive culture in which our people can thrive.”
Des Thurlby Group Director of Human Resources, Petrofac
“We’re delighted that Petrofac has joined the movement of almost 9,000 responsible employers across the UK who voluntarily commit to go further than the government minimum to make sure all their staff earn enough to live on. These businesses recognise that paying the real Living Wage is the mark of a responsible employer and they believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay."
