Mumbai office celebrates its Annual Day

On 8 February, staff at our Mumbai office and their families came together for an evening of fun and festivities to celebrate the office’s Annual Day, Parampara (‘Tradition’) 2014.

Each Petrofac office in India celebrates an Annual Day, where local management provide an overview of the previous year’s performance before presenting awards to employees for their contributions.

The theme at this year’s event was ‘village’, which highlighted the local community atmosphere at our Mumbai office. The event was held outside so that the theme could really be brought to life – there were bullock carts, charpai (seating made from rope or tape netting) and even pottery making stalls!

Employees and their families took part in a range of cultural performances on the outdoor stage, which included songs, dances, a rock band and stand-up comedy.

Throughout the course of the evening, prizes were also awarded to winners of various local competitions including Petrofac Mumbai Sports Activities, Environment Month and Petroflash Mumbai Photography Competition. The evening ended with a dinner and a message of ‘Save the girl child’, presented through a dance by the 2013 graduates.
