Mumbai office celebrates 12th annual ‘Parampara’ with employees and families

Around 1,200 employees and their families came together to celebrate the Mumbai office’s 12th Annual Day ‘Parampara 2015’.

Each Petrofac office in India celebrates an Annual Day, where local management provide an overview of the previous year’s performance before presenting awards to employees for their contributions. Employees also enjoy cultural performances from colleagues and their families.

The event was opened by the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the welcoming of dignitaries, including members of senior management from our ECOM division.

This year, seven teams competed on the magnificently decorated stage to win the coveted title of Parampara champions. The songs and dances performed depicted multiple facets of culture, religion, history, patriotism, the struggle against stigmas in society and our core value, safety. Lakshmi Venkatesh, General Manager – Delhi, was invited on stage to announce the winners and described the performances as “outstanding”. The winning performance was ‘Shivkalyan Raja’ followed by ‘Safety first’ and ‘Colours of Mumbai’.

Craig Muir, Managing Director of Engineering & Consulting Services, then presented long service awards to employees who had reached their five and ten year anniversaries with Petrofac.

The spectacular event concluded with a banquet dinner and dance, as young and old celebrated happily late into the night.
