Missing Petrofac employee, Beryl Alpha

Petrofac regrets to confirm that the body located during a subsea search around the Beryl Alpha platform has now been confirmed as our employee, Martin Lindsay. Mr Lindsay, who was reported missing on the installation on Tuesday 28 April 2009, was a production operator and had been with Petrofac for four years and was one of 90 Petrofac personnel on the Beryl Alpha facility where the Company provides maintenance and operations personnel to its customer Mobil North Sea.

Our thoughts are with Mr Lindsay's family, friends and colleagues to whom we will continue to provide support and assistance during this difficult time.

We would also wish to extend our gratitude for the support and assistance of the authorities and teams involved in the search and recovery operation.
