Kittiwake team achieves safety milestone

The Kittiwake platform achieved a fantastic 11 years without a Lost Time Incident (LTI) this week.

Offshore Installation Manager, Alan Richardson attributes the team’s success to the culture they’ve worked so hard to create on the platform. “The asset has become known for its passionate approach to safety and the commitment the team makes every day to ensuring this is at the top of everyone’s agenda – including all visitors and vendors.

“Maintaining and reinforcing this culture has been essential over the past 12 months while significant construction, commissioning, subsea and electrical installation activities have been taking place across the platform, in addition to normal production and maintenance activities. I’d like to thank everyone, on and offshore, who helped us achieve this target and encourage the team to keep going with their efforts – we must never become complacent.”
