Iraq team reaches safety milestone

Our CPF Phase 1 Project team in Badra, Iraq recently celebrated reaching 3 million man-hours without a lost time incident (LTI).

Andy Nickerson, HSSE Director, Petrofac Onshore Engineering & Construction, visited the site to thank the team. Andy said: “I was delighted to have the opportunity to thank the team for their contributions and to challenge them further to complete this project LTI free.

“Other Petrofac projects easily exceed these figures, but given the geographical challenges and cultures in Iraq this accomplishment is huge.

“At this time of political uncertainty surrounding the Middle East it is also always good to hear and share positive news from this region.”
