Graduates Complete Training Programme

To mark the successful completion of a two-year graduate training programme, Petrofac, the integrated international oil & gas service provider, celebrated the achievement with an awards ceremony and dinner held during December at Le Meridien Hotel, Dubai.

Seventeen of the nineteen graduates who successfully completed the training scheme were able to share their experiences and anecdotes during the evening with members of Petrofac’s executive management. All the graduates received certificates in recognition of this major milestone in their career development.

Petrofac’s graduate training scheme uses a results-oriented approach against which critical success factors and key result areas are established. It is against these mutually agreed targets, that individual performance and progress is monitored. This approach has proved to be very successful within the organisation and continues to be so.

Presenting the awards, Marwan Chedid, executive vice president Engineering & Construction, commented: “Petrofac is committed to the development and progression of staff throughout its business and we are very proud of the forward-looking training programmes we have in place for our personnel.”

One of the award recipients, Karim Zoghbi, a graduate commissioning engineering, commented: “The last two years have been all-embracing, with Petrofac providing me with challenging opportunities, whilst encompassing full support. This experience has provided me with a secure foundation from which to further develop my career within Petrofac.”

A consistent message emanating from all the graduates who have joined Petrofac in recent years is that, without exception, they all joined because of their belief in the company’s dynamic growth to offer unparalleled career opportunities. Recognising that the graduates of today are the future of tomorrow, Petrofac invests heavily in, and is completely dedicated to, its graduate recruitment and training programme.
