Chennai office celebrates sixth anniversary

Our Engineering & Consulting Services (ECS) office in Chennai recently celebrated its sixth anniversary with a day of festivities. The annual ‘Petrofest’ celebration was held at the Chennai Trade Centre and was attended by Chennai employees and special guests including ECS Managing Director Craig Muir and Delhi General Manager B P Gupta.

The celebration started with a welcome speech from KRSR Krishna, VP, Chennai Operations, and a safety moment. Employees took part in a variety of entertaining stage performances, including short plays, cultural dances and a recital by the ‘Petrofac Music Academy’.

Craig Muir presented a number of awards on stage; 15 employees received an Engineering Excellence Award and more than 100 were recognised for their long-term commitment to Petrofac, having reached their five-year milestone with the Company.

KRSR Krishna commented on the anniversary: “Our Chennai office has grown significantly in the last six years, from a handful of people to more than 1,000 employees. ‘Petrofest’ was a fantastic day to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our team and six successful years of operation.”
