Chennai and Delhi offices celebrate milestone birthdays

Our Chennai and Delhi engineering centres recently celebrated their tenth and fifth anniversaries respectively.

Marking a decade since it first opened, the Chennai office celebrated the occasion with some special guests. The Board, guided by E Sathy, Managing Director of Technical Services, conducted a tour of the office and spoke to some of the employees. Ayman Asfari, Group Chief Executive, offered his congratulations and cut a special cake together with Rijnhard van Tets, Chairman.

Ayman and Marwan Chedid, Chief Operating Officer, also met Chennai’s current batch of graduate engineering trainees. They heard the graduate’s thoughts on the programme so far, answered the young engineers’ questions, and emphasised the importance of investing in the bright minds of the future.

“Most of our leaders started as engineering graduates.” said Ayman. “In today’s every increasingly competitive markets, in order to thrive and prosper, continuous learning and development is key.”

An event was also held to mark Delhi’s fifth anniversary, with guest of honour E Sathy launching a workshop for Delhi’s senior leaders and hosting a recognition ceremony for those employees completing five years of service.
