BP Khazzan wins Project of the Year award

BP Oman’s tight gas project, known as Khazzan, has won a 2018 MEED Projects Award, for ‘Oil & Gas Project of the Year.’

The event celebrated the region’s best projects, with more than 90 shortlisted as finalists or national winners, competing for awards across 16 different categories.

Commenting on the award and thanking BP for recognising Petrofac’s contribution, Elie Lahoud, Senior Vice President, Operations E&C said: “BP Khazzan was a key project for Petrofac and a great example of working safely and collaboratively towards operational excellence. It is gratifying that the efforts of those involved have been recognised across the region and we are thrilled to be part of the award winning team.”
