Algerian Minister of Training and Professional Education and Ouargla Province Governor visit Petrofac training centre

Belkhair Dada Moussa, Minister of Training and Professional Education and Abdelkader Djellaoui, Ouargla Province Governor have visited Petrofac’s recently inaugurated training centre in Hassi Messaoud, Southern Algeria.

More than 50 delegates and officials accompanied Mr Dada Moussa and Mr Djellaoui as they toured the refurbished facilities and workshops, interacting and gaining feedback from trainees.

With a capacity to train up to 400 delegates annually and an applied training methodology, the training centre will provide Algerian students with the theoretical knowledge and essential practical skills they need to work in their chosen professional discipline upon graduation. The centre was designed, built and will be operated by Petrofac, as part of our commitment to the development of local skills.

“We get a lot of support from the employment agencies and local officials. They see us as a good neighbour, and we are pleased that there is such high interest in the Hassi Messaoud training centre. We have invested in modernising the centre and reopening it, and we are committed to giving back to the community,”

said Graham Mac Millan, Senior Vice President – North Africa.
