Iraq We have extended our long-term contract with Basra Oil Company for the Iraq Crude Oil Export Expansion Project, and secured several new contract awards and extensions for engineering, operations and maintenance services, and for construction management, engineering, commissioning and start-up services.
Kuwait We secured a lump-sum EPC project for Kuwait Oil Company, valued at US$1.3 billion, for GC32, the first sour oil and gas gathering centre in the Burgan oil field. We’ve also agreed to provide specialist technical training and competency development services for Kuwait Oil Company, and continue to work downstream with Kuwait National Petroleum Company’s Clean Fuels Project. Other projects include the US$4 billion Lower Fars heavy oil development programme.
Malaysia We operate Block PM304 on behalf of PETRONAS; uptime remains high, and production levels are meeting our expectations. We continue to make good progress on the US$500 million RAPID project, where over 90% of the construction work has been completed, and we have reached nearly 9 million man-hours without a single LTI.
Oman We’ve been active in Oman since 1988, where we are working on several mega-projects, have recently secured new business wins, and continue to increase our locally based capabilities. And in 2017, in partnership with Takatuf, we created a leading technical training centre capable of training up to 350 students, and signed a 10-year agreement with Petroleum Development Oman for the provision of EPCm support services for major oil and gas projects.
Saudi Arabia Among several other projects, we are working on two downstream facilities: the Jazan refinery and the Petro Rabigh petrochemicals plant, which are in the commissioning phase. We also have a tailored training platform for Saudi employees, which has provided skills training for over 220 Saudi employees.
UK We have multiple operations in the North Sea, and have developed an innovative Service Operator model, which we provide to the Anasuria Operating Company, focused on driving shared value. We secured a three–year extension of a maintenance services contract with BP, and a 12-month extension for engineering services with Chevron. And we celebrated 20 years since we first pioneered the outsourced Duty Holder model in the North Sea.
