Petrofac Opens Training Centre in Houston

Petrofac, the international oil & gas facilities service provider, today announces the opening of its new training centre in Houston to be operated by its training arm, Petrofac Training.

The facility is equipped to meet the health & safety and emergency response training needs of the oil & gas industry in Houston as well as servicing other industries within the energy sector.

The centre boasts a state-of-the-art critical incident management training simulator, fully equipped with IT and audio-visual capabilities to recreate emergency scenarios to train managers and their teams to deal with emergency situations. A range of courses is available at the centre to adequately prepare individuals and organisations for major emergencies.
