Anasuria team celebrates double safety milestone

The Anasuria FPSO team has recently achieved two significant safety milestones.

On 6 October, our team celebrated four years without a lost time incident (LTI). This safety milestone follows the recent award of an ‘Order of Distinction’ from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), in honour of the asset having received a gold award for 19 consecutive years.

The Order of Distinction was presented to Anasuria HSE Advisor, Lee Forsythe, in celebration of the team’s outstanding health and safety performance.

Since 2016, we’ve been responsible for the FPSO operations and the management and monitoring of its pipelines, as part of our Service Operator contract with Anasuria Operating Company (AOC), a joint-operating company equally owned by Anasuria Hibiscus UK Limited (Hibiscus) and Ping Petroleum UK Limited (Ping). Hibiscus and Ping acquired the Anasuria cluster from Shell and its partners in 2016, as part of their long-term plan to rejuvenate mature assets in the North Sea.

Offshore Installation Manager, Brian Sutherland, said: “To be celebrating not one, but two significant safety milestones, is a huge achievement and is testament to the Anasuria team’s stellar safety culture. I’d like to thank both our onshore and offshore teams, as this level of safe performance wouldn’t have been possible without their ongoing hard work and commitment.

“We hope to celebrate many more milestones to come, as we continue supporting AOC in extending the life of the fields, safely and efficiently.”
