Seagreen is a offshore wind farm development owned by SSE Renewables (49%) and TotalEnergies (51%). Located 27 kilometres off the coast of Angus, when complete it will be the largest in Scotland.

Building on our established expertise from similar North Sea projects – and supporting our diversification into renewable energy – Petrofac has designed and will supply and install the HVAC onshore and offshore substations for the project. This includes engineering, fabrication, transportation, installation and commissioning of the offshore substation platform, including the topside, jacket and piles.

The topside and jacket are being fabricated at Eversendai Offshore’s facility in the UAE, where a team blending talented young graduates and experienced long-serving engineers is delivering what is a unique project for Petrofac. Let’s meet some of the people involved…
