We have a long-term Framework Agreement (FA) with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) for the provision of EPCm support services for major oil and gas projects in the Sultanate. Projects undertaken through the FA will be supported by our Muscat office for technical delivery and to ensure we generate sustainable in-country value.
Oman is a strategically important location for us and we support the country’s Omanisation objectives. We are focused on maximising the local supply chain and resources, working hard to be an integral part of the local community.
We recruit and train Omani personnel as well as utilise and develop Omani service providers and vendors. Our growing engineering office in Muscat further demonstrates our commitment to being an integral and sustainable part of the local market.
Petrofac has a strong heritage in Oman dating back to 1988. Over the years, we’ve consistently aimed to bring more to the country than we take away. We are investing in our local presence and developing our Muscat office’s in-country engineering capabilities to ensure we’re part of the fabric of Oman for many years to come.
