We secured our first contract in Kazakhstan in 2004 to develop process facilities for the vast Kashagan field, one of the world’s largest untapped oil fields at the time. Initial work was for engineering and procurement of two trains for the onshore oil, gas and sulphur plants. This was followed by an additional scope for further oil train and gas treatment enhancements.
In 2006 and 2007 we worked alongside Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) and its partners on the multi-million dollar Karachaganak development.
In September 2013 we entered into a consortium with Linde AG of Germany (Linde) and GS Engineering & Construction Corporation, Republic of Korea (GS). The consortium provided engineering work in relation to the development of its Integrated Petrochemicals Complex and Infrastructure project, situated in the Tengiz and Karabatan regions.
We are currently delivering a project management services contract in-country.
