Planning, environment and new energy
We manage the environmental and consenting process to help customers secure investment and develop renewable energy and other infrastructure projects through our TNEI Services Ltd (TNEI) business.
TNEI is well known and respected for the strength and expertise of its Planning and Environmental Group. It has established a reputation within the energy industry for the rapid and effective consenting of wind energy sites and other energy related and infrastructure projects.
We provide services across the various phases of development from site finding and feasibility studies, environmental assessment and planning application preparation, technical and environmental services (including noise assessment, GIS mapping and ecological surveying) through to post-planning permission support.
TNEI have secured around 170 planning permissions with an overall application success rate of around 90%.
Energy Management
We help customers manage their energy consumption, allowing them to realise cost, energy and carbon savings.
TNEI is well known for the expertise of its Energy Management Group. It employs a team of passionate individuals dedicated to helping organisations manage and reduce their energy consumption.
We provide a wide range of services, from monitoring and analysing energy data and identifying energy conservation measures through to promoting and changing the workplace culture.
TNEI have identified over 65,000 tonnes of CO2 savings per year for our clients.
