BP maintenance support

Through our 200 highly skilled and competent technicians Petrofac delivers outstanding support to BP operations in the UKCS and onshore at Dimlington, covering Ex inspections, LV switchgear, safety equipment, fire and gas, instruments, routine inspection of pressure safety valves, including refurbishment and testing. Supported by dedicated maintenance co-ordinators based at BP’s Dyce offices, the contract is an excellent example of a customer/service provider partnership committed to delivering safe, reliable operations. Petrofac recently passed the milestone of one million man-hours without a recordable safety incident, a significant achievement, and testament to the high levels of competence within the team and their focus on safety.

Petrofac has been providing quality operations, maintenance and services delivery to the Alwyn North and Dunbar installations since 2005. Petrofac provides operations personnel and manages the maintenance implementation and services teams on both platforms. The contract has been highly successful, delivering year on year improvements in performance such as for maintenance backlog, which has been reduced by 80% during the period of the contract.
