Petrofac Opens New Office in Aberdeen
18 May, 2012
As a result of continued business growth Petrofac, the international oil & gas service provider, has leased an additional office in Aberdeen.
Petrofac’s Offshore Projects & Operations (OPO) business, which has its main office in Aberdeen, has secured a 12 year lease on a 46,000 square foot office building at Quattro House, Wellington Circle, Altens, formerly the Aberdeen headquarters of AGIP and ENI. With space for up to 450 people it is an extension of the company’s existing operations at Bridge View in the city centre.
The expansion comes as a result of business growth from new contracts and the development of existing ones and represents the progress OPO is making towards the Petrofac Group aim of doubling 2010 recurring profits by 2015.
The office offers quality accommodation with parking facilities in a location close to Petrofac’s customer base.
Bill Dunnett, managing director, OPO commented: “Over the last few years we’ve seen our business go from strength to strength resulting in the need for more people and more space. Aberdeen is the oil & gas capital of Europe and our expansion into another office in the city was a natural choice. We’re focused on delivering for our customers and taking on this new office ensures that we can continue to do so as we grow.”
