Maersk Oil Extends Contract with Petrofac

Petrofac, the international oil & gas service provider, announces today that it has been awarded an extension of its current contract until October 2007 with Maersk Oil North Sea UK Ltd for the provision of offshore operations and maintenance services.
The extension of the existing contract becomes effective on 1 July 2006. The assets comprise the Gryphon, Janice and Global Producer III installations.
