Asset integrity
We continue to focus on the technical integrity of the plants we design, build and operate, to minimise the risk of major accidents, such as fire and explosion.
We recognise the importance of robust asset integrity management and we have an internal education and awareness-raising programme.
Our Asset Integrity Review Board meets monthly to review plant integrity. The meetings help anticipate potential issues and provide a forum for peer review and support.
We continue to work with the wider industry to reduce risk. Our Training Services business is a leading emergency response trainer, while our UK Emergency Response Service Centre in Aberdeen provides a 24-hour integrated response capability. We are members of the UK Oil Spill Prevention and Response Advisory Group and actively support the UK oil and gas industry safety initiative, Step Change in Safety, and its working groups.
