Completion
In 2010 we saw the end of the year closing with the award of the Sepat Early Production System by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd. The Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) work for the project had been previously carried out by our specialist FEED execution office in Woking, UK.
Located on the East coast of Peninsular Malaysia, the project involved the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) for the full scope of the early production system in a water depth of approximately 65 metres. The EPCIC comprises of a mobile offshore production unit (MOPU), a floating storage and offloading (FSO) facility for the early production of approximately 20,000 barrels of oil per day, and all interconnecting subsea pipelines.
First oil was achieved at the asset in December 2011.
