Don Southwest Update

Petrofac, the international oil & gas facilities service provider, and Operator of the Don development, provides the following update on the Area 22 well in the Don Southwest field (the “field”).

As previously advised, a side-track of the Area 22 production well on Don Southwest was expected to be completed in January 2010. Prior to commencement of the side-track, we encountered difficulties retrieving the down-hole completion materials. This has delayed the side-track drilling operations, which are now ready to recommence. We now anticipate the side-track well to be completed before the end of February 2010, subject to limited weather downtime conditions.
