On 23 July, a naming ceremony was held for the SEPAT floating storage and offloading (FSO) vessel at the Keppel shipyard in Singapore; the FSO being a key component in the development of the SEPAT field located approximately 130 km offshore Terengganu.

The traditional naming ceremony was attended by dignitaries and distinguished guests from PETRONAS Carigali, Petrofac and Bumi Armada. The ship was named and sent off by Datin Aspalela Mohd Yusop, lady sponsor and wife of PETRONAS Carigali’s President, Datuk Abdullah Karim. Petrofac also expressed its deepest appreciation to Bumi Armada for its excellent performance in achieving the naming ceremony milestone for the FSO SEPAT.
