Our Mumbai office was established in 2003, back when the capital of Maharashtra was still known as Bombay. Since its creation, the Mumbai operational centre has played an essential role in supporting the delivery of successful projects across the Middle East, North Africa and Asia Pacific regions.
- the Mumbai office started with a modest man-power of 17 employees and now has more than 770 employees
- Mumbai focuses on pre-bid/proposal engineering and other detailed engineering activities
In 2007, the ‘Petrofac Scholarship for Studies in Engineering’ was launched. In collaboration with the Arvind Gandbhir Secondary School at Jogeshwari in northern Mumbai, scholarships were awarded to high-performing pupils. For Petrofac, the ultimate goal behind this initiative is to help individuals continue their education in a recognised establishment where they will pursue an engineering qualification.
Since the Mumbai office was established in 2003, we have gone from strength to strength in supporting Petrofac’s international project development and delivery and we will continue to deliver excellent services to the team to support the wider business growth.
