Petrofac Saudi Arabia is ISO 9001 certified, and its areas of operations include onshore and offshore oil and gas, refining and petrochemicals, plus industrial projects.

Petrofac is fully committed to Saudization and the local community. Petrofac Saudi Arabia supports the training and employment of Saudi nationals. A varied and progressive competency development programme is delivered. In addition, Petrofac collaborates with local organisations, institutions and associations to enhance education, training and environmental activities.
In July 2012, Petrofac was awarded two EPC contracts for Petro Rabigh’s Phase II petrochemical expansion project; an EPC contract for tank farms and a second EPC contract for common utilities. The projects - scheduled to be undertaken within 36 months - are some of the first major awards made by Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical under their In-Kingdom EPC programme and will be delivered from Petrofac’s Saudi Arabia office in Al-Khobar.
