Security team learn key safety skills

In line with Petrofac’s number one core value of being safe, our team in Saudi Arabia has recently added to the skills and responsiveness of its local security team at the Karan project camp.

Twelve members of the Saudi team successfully completed a ‘fire safety basics and equipment use’ training programme. The programme was tailored to the camp and also included basic first aid and related life support exercises.

Additionally, the same group recently completed our defensive driving course along with a number of supplementary e-learning modules. The success of this training programme was due to the collaborative effort between our HSSE, organisational development and administration teams in Saudi Arabia.

More courses in related areas are scheduled to take place during 2012.
