Our integrated services offer
Comprising Developments, Production Solutions and Training Services business units, the Integrated Energy Services (IES) division provides a full range of field and infrastructure development as well as production enhancement services.
Since 1997, Petrofac has been on a journey to add competence beyond our core engineering and construction capability, including subsurface, asset management, maintenance and operations, training, brownfield engineering, well management and production engineering. Through the creation of IES, our focus is to deliver this existing service capability in an integrated way, providing greater value to our customers.
Petrofac has a high quality service offering covering a broad range of technical capabilities combined with a commitment to the development of local supply chains and to building local capability. Our aim is to align with the asset holder, not by owning the reserves but by co-investment based upon common and aligned goals.
We integrate our range of services through innovative commercial structures, by delivering fast-track oil and gas developments delivered within Risk Service Contracts (RSC), or increasing production from late-life fields through Production Enhancement Contracts (PEC), bringing capital where required. Reserves and production remain with the asset owner and, in the case of RSCs, field operations are typically handed back after delivery of first production and once the local workforce is fully trained. In this respect, IES underpins Petrofac’s service delivery to resource holders with the provision of technical skills training programmes and competency development and assurance frameworks through our Training Services business unit.

I am very excited by the opportunity to fundamentally change the way in which business is done in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry. That's a hugely exciting agenda and has the potential to create significant future growth.
