Leading a consortium with Saipem S.p.A. (Saipem) and Samsung Engineering Co Ltd (Samsung), Petrofac was awarded the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract in 2018.
Currently underway, the existing oil refinery in Sriracha, Chonburi, is being transformed. The facility upgrade will improve its environmental performance and the quality of the transportation fuels produced. When complete, the refinery’s production capability will increase by 45% supporting our client to reach output of up to 400,000 barrels per day.
This will be achieved through improvements and expansion at the existing facility as well as the addition of new complex processing units, and all required utilities and supporting facilities.
