Energy infrastructure

The Energy Infrastructure team identifies and develops brownfield and greenfield opportunities in mid and downstream infrastructure. It invests where Petrofac’s engineering, procurement and construction and operations and maintenance expertise can add value.

Projects include oil & gas processing facilities, pipelines, storage refineries and refinery units, terminals and LNG regasification. We currently own interests in the Ohanet gas processing plant in Algeria, the Kyrgyz Petroleum Company refinery and midstream infrastructure in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The competencies and expertise within the Petrofac group give Petrofac Developments the ability to engage in a broad range of projects. Working with the other business units in the group, Developments engages technical, operational and financial skills to manage and mitigate the many risks that are involved in any major project; a key differentiator for our business.
